No Emulsifiers or Additives, Just Quality Chocolate.

Cacao is an amazing fruit, but unfortunately most big chocolate makers have taken shortcuts that minimize it's health benefits.

Soy Lecithin? Artificial Flavors/Colors? PGPR? These unnatural additives make it easier to mass produce and flavor chocolate, but have studied negative side effects. Why compromise on our health?

What Do We Use? 70% dark chocolate from ethically sourced organic cacao of the Dominican Republic, organic coconut sugar, and organic cocoa butter. We currently source from a San Diego bean to bar maker, but our goal is to move to making our own blends in the future!

The Benefits? Cacao's antioxidants, and critical minerals like magnesium and Zinc, have studied outcomes including improved bloodflow, cardiovascular health, and mood. Important, no?

How it Started

Tired of additives in her food and looking for that perfect decadent & wholesome treat, Michelle created Mild Addictions by simply playing around in her apartment kitchen during Covid, "just making something I wanted to eat for myself".

Her fiance Alex tried it, loved it, and joined in early on. Together they launched Mild Addictions in January 2023.

While the business is still in it's early days, they're here to make healthier, handcrafted indulgences for everyone!
